Emerald Green is Pantone's COLOR of the YEAR 2013

Every December, Pantone chooses it's color of the Year, so Move over Tangerine Tango because this year it's all about being green ... Emerald Green!

Orange you glad it's not Tangerine again this year?

For sure there are a few leprechauns cheering along with Kermit the frog, the Jolly Green Giant ... and obviously Scarlett Johansson! 

I love to wear green and this means I will have no trouble finding more of it to add to my wardrobe. If you don't have some you'll want to add  this hue in your closet right away! If not in time for Christmas certainly before Saint Patrick's Day!

Pantone set out in 1963 to standardize color communication to designers, manufacturers and retail customers across the world. Now we look to them to forecast our future love affair with color as well. Pantone is describing this years choice as "Lively. Radiant. Lush ... A color of elegance and beauty that enhances our sense of well-being, balance and harmony." I totally agree, plus I'm married to an Irish-man!
